When we first purchased our house we were SUPER overwhelmed with decorating each room and even more so having to buy furniture for each room. We decided that instead of trying to do it all at once (because 1-that’s too expensive and 2 – that’s super overwhelming), we would take it one room at a time. Budget, budget, budget!
After the house flooded (that’s a story for another day) we were forced to re-do our master. We repainted, put down new carpet (thanks to water damage), and Bradley built our custom bed and nightstands. We definitely wanted that farmhouse feel without going overboard! Farmhouse bedroom, on a budget!
Our bed is custom-built (by the hubby), but we followed a tutorial I had found on Pinterest here. We changed a few things (like making it a king-size) but it was a pretty easy build!
The nightstands are custom too, but super easy as well! The tutorial we used isn’t online anymore, but I found these which are super similar and cute!
